Illegal Pete's finally opened last Friday in the former home of Mama's Cafe (and an International House of Pancakes before that) at 2001 East Colfax Avenue — and it was definitely worth the wait. The original A-frame has been stripped to its bones and filled with a sleek kitchen and seating; outside, there's a big adjacent patio — and parking! The place is already getting raves. Says Amy:

Adds Michael:

Concludes Eileen:

Have you been to the new Illegal Pete's yet? There are now eight locations in Colorado, as well as one in Tucson (below); which is your favorite?
