Cafe Society

Reader: The gang's all beer in Colorado

A river of alcohol was running through Cafe Society yesterday, with Laura Shunk offering her list of neighborhood liquor stores, Swirl Girl suggesting five bottles of bubbly for New Year's Eve, and Colorado Beer Man Jonathan Shikes serving up his "ten best Colorado beers of 2011."

Solid list. Excited to try some of your top hitters, and the fact that there's no Oskar Blues (nothing personal against them, sure it's a great company, love the canned concept etc. but the beers are just not good to me, especially the Dale's Pale) shows me that you thought outside the normal Colorado box.

Do you drink outside the normal Colorado box? And how much would you pay for that drink? The discussion of $9 cocktails is continuing, too; join that discussion here.
