Rebel Restaurant is coming to RiNo — specifically 3763 Wynkoop Street, the former home of several dive bars, including Fat Bros, Wynkoop Grill and Hospoda. But owners Dan Lasiy and Bo Porytko are planning to put the focus on the kitchen. "We want to be food first, bar second," says Porytko. "We don't necessarily want the dynamic of the rowdy bar crowd." Responds David:
Oh, great. Another expensive, froufrou "foodie" restaurant in RiNo. That's a new and exciting concept. When is someone going to open a decent sports bar around here with happy hour specials and Coors Light? Now, that truly would be an innovative concept in RiNo.
What do you think of the Rebel concept? What would you like to see in RiNo?
