Squeaky Bean fundraiser for World Wildlife on this week's culinary calendar

Monday, June 30

The Squeaky Bean will host a culinary fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight featuring seasonal small bites prepared by Squeaky Bean executive chef Theo Adley and sous chef Kathy Jeon in collaboration with chef/owner Alexander Figura of Lower48 Kitchen, chef/owner Troy Guard of TAG and executive chef John Depierro of Bones. Desserts will be prepared by Lower48's Brittany Campbell and private chef Fallon Wortham. There will also be cocktails, a silent "Chinese" auction where guests can bid on items hidden under boxes, and live comedy from "Hippieman." Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling the Bean at 303-623-2665; all proceeds will benefit the World Wildlife Foundation and its efforts to support wildlife and environmental conservation.

Peter Rosback of the Sineann Winery, who was the guest of honor at Ya Ya's just last night, will be in the spotlight tonight at The Kitchen downtown. This community table event will feature four family-style courses specially paired with four Sineann wines. The evening will start with a meet-and-greet with Rosback at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Reservations are $55 and extremely limited; make yours by calling 303-623-3127.

Wednesday, July 2

Firenze a Tavola is hosting a five-course, Tuscan-inspired community-table meal tonight at 6:30 p.m. The special menu is priced $36; make your reservations by clicking here or by calling 303-561-0234.

Thursday, July 3

The History Colorado Center will allow all museum members and kids twelve and under in free today to see Food: Our Global Kitchen. Hours for Family Day are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; for more information visit historycoloradocenter.org

Every Thursday in July select Chipotle locations will be offering buy-one-get-one Patron margaritas from 4 to 8 p.m. For more information, visit chipotle.com.

Friday, July 4

Lola is firing up the grills and throwing a Fourth of July BBQ starting at high noon today. The star-spangled menu will feature smoked chicken wings, beef ribs, pork shoulder and more, all with a dash of Lola's Latin flair. There will also be live music starting at 2:30 p.m. and a taco-eating contest starting at 3:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
