Steuben's reusable carryout bags save the planet -- and earn you fries

Everybody is rocking reusable grocery bags these days -- and Steuben's, 523 East 17th Avenue, is getting in on the action.

Now when folks get take-out or curbside pickup at Steuben's, their order comes in a nifty reusable canvas bag emblazoned with the joint's logo. Not only does it make a statement at the check-out aisle, but customers who reuse the bag for subsequent Steuben's take-out orders are rewarded with a free order of fries.

While it's no complementary lobster roll, it's a heck of a lot better than the 5 cent-per-reusable-bag discount offered by most grocery stores.
