Tavern Hospitality Group introduces its own stimulus package

"We recognize that times are tough for people in this current economic situation," says Frank Schultz of the Tavern Hospitality Group. "A little has to go a long way. We felt compelled to offer guests a greater value for their dollar."

And so today THG will roll out the Tavern Stimulus Package, featuring food and beverage specials seven days a week at Tavern Uptown, Tavern Downtown, Tavern Lowry, Tavern Tech Center and Tavern Wash Park. Included in the deals: an expanded happy hour from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, with 2-for-1 well drinks, house wine and domestic draft beer; and $3 Miller Lite drafts and $4 Finlandia Vodka drinks from 10 p.m.-close Monday-Thursday. There's also a new Twilight Hour. "I think one of the best parts of our Stimulus Package is the Twilight Hour which bridges the gap between our happy hour and late night with great drink specials," Schultz explains. Twilight Hour will run from 7-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday, with $3 Bud and Bud Light drafts, and $4 Three Olive Vodka drinks.

There's food news, too: half-price off the late-night menu from 10 p.m.-midnight Thursday-Saturday (downtown location not included); Football Favorites all day Sunday and Monday from 5 p.m. to close, with $1 sliders, $.50 wings and $10 large pizzas with two toppings; and a prime rib special on Saturday ( 4 p.m.-close, excluding downtown) with $15 for ten ounces, $19 for sixteen.
