Declaration Brewing is hosting Women for Delicious Beer Presents: A Raw Ingredient Tasting today at 6:30 p.m. The brewery's head brewer will discuss raw ingredients that are used in the brewing process, including malts, water, honey and more. Tickets are $15 — which includes a pint — and can be purchased here.
Frasca Food and Wine will explore the wines of Dalla Terra with guest Brian Larky at the restaurant's Monday Night Wine Dinner. The evening is $50 for four courses — not including optional wine pairings, which range from $45 to $50 per person. For reservations, call 303-442-6966.

Cured West is teaming up with its neighbor, floral shop Fawn's Leap, to offer a four-session Home Economics Summer School. To celebrate the new parking garage funded by the owners of Izakaya Den, Sushi Den and OTOTO, the restaurants will throw a “Summer Rooftop Party” from 5 to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow. Six guest chefs from Japan will be making authentic Japanese ramen noodles, and sushi rolls, Japanese BBQ and specialty Japanese sake and beer stations will be offered across the rooftop of the garage in the 1500 block of South Pearl Street, across from OTOTO. Tickets are $55 and can be purchased here; all proceeds will be donated to earthquake-relief agencies in Kumamoto assisting victims of the April earthquakes.

The Inventing Room has launched a series of “Science of Ice Cream” demonstrations designed to show kids about carbon dioxide, liquid-nitrogen ice cream and more, and class is back in session from 11 a.m. to noon today. The Ghost BBQ & Spirits will hold its inaugural Ghost Pepper Wing Eating Contest at 5 p.m. today at the Boulder Theater. Contestants will have one minute to eat each hot wing prepared with the Ghost BBQ’s signature Ghost Pepper Death Sauce; wings will get progressively hotter until only one contestant remains, who will be declared the Ghost’s 2016 Wing-Eating Champion. The evening will also include live music and food specials from the Ghost.
