Despite the tiff with Cherry Creek Fresh Market, Civic Center Eats is thriving, bringing crowds of downtown lunchers to the Tuesday food court.

And now those lunchers won't have to wait until next Tuesday for another fix. The Steuben's Food Truck has secured a permit that will allow the movable feast to cruise the park every day, and starting today, the crew plans on being there Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Josh Wolkon, the Steuben's and Vesta Dipping Grill owner who's been the driving force behind this project, hopes that the truck's daily presence will prove that food vendors are enough of a draw to really liven up the park -- and encourage other vendors to seek daily permits from the city, as well.

"Eventually, we hope to bring in tables and chairs," he says. "We're going to continue to build a permanent presence, and we hope that brings in more vendors."
