Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Get an early holiday gift in Cherry Creek North today: free parking. Thanks to Prestige Audi, parking will be free all day -- for the first time since parking kiosks were installed in that shopping district (excepting Sundays, of course). And parking enforcement officers will even be on hand to remind people not to pay -- and to hand out parking tokens for future visits.
To fuel yourself for shopping, think about parking close to the Cherry Cricket, where a Cricket burger (one our best burgers) and a few beers should put you in the proper holiday spirits.
The free parking deal will continue through the Candlelight Stroll, which runs from 6-8 p.m. tonight. Participating stores will be offering holiday treats and specials.
And on Saturday, November 20, the NorthCreek parking garage will be offering free parking, too. For more information on Cherry Creek North's Yuletide Project, visit www.cherrycreeknorth.com.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
