You know your Sunday will be filled with copious amounts of chips, dip, beer and maybe even a snack food stadium (if you're so lucky), so why not start training for the big event now?  A great place to start would be The Spicy Pickle at 1298 South Broadway.  In honor of Super Bowl 43, this location -- and this location only -- is offering all entrees for $.43 today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You read that right: 43 freakin' cents. You can't even buy a cookie for that cheap (no really, cookies, chips and drinks are regular price)!  But for 43 cents, you can get a full-size sandwich, as loved by our Weekly Bread coorespondent, a big salad or, as our Veggie Girl would recommend, the Double Dilly-Yo Combo, which comes with half a sandwich and your choice of soup or salad.

Are you looking at the time?  Why are you still sitting there?  In this economy, a $.43 lunch is something you can't afford to pass up.  Limited to one per person per visit.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
