Tonight: Mixology, wine and beer

Paul Dolan will pair his organic, biodynamic wines with food by the Denver FIVE's tastemakers at TAG, 1441 Larimer Street. The dinner runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and costs $75; call 303-996-9985 or visit www.tag-restaurant.com.

Root Down, at 1600 West 33rd Avenue, will host Mix It Up, a mixologist benefit featuring Anika Zappe that's designed to stir up cash for the renovation of the Historic Elitch Gardens Theatre. It runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and costs $40; call 303-993-4200 or visit www.rootdowndener.com.

Or head to the Kitchen, 1039 Pearl Street in Boulder, at 5:30 p.m. for the $60, third-Tuesday Wine and Beer Class. April's theme is cooking with cheese, and the class includes a four-course meal paired with wine and beer. For more info, call 303-544-5973.
