And the Boulder Theater is the site of the High West Oyster Fest tonight, with live music by local funk band Juno What?! and fresh oysters from Jax Fish House; Odell's Brewery will be pouring its Emersum Oyster Stout. The event also features oyster-shucking and -eating contests. Tickets are $29.50 at the box office or online; a limited number of VIP and $25 general-admission tickets are also available at all three Jax locations. The event will benefit Veterans Expeditions, a local nonprofit that counsels veterans after military service.
