Tonight: Wine Maker's Dinner and Summer Wine Tasting

There are two wine-centric events tonight. First up: Rebuilding Together Metro Denver hosts its second annual Summer Wine Tasting from 6 to 8 p.m.; sommeliers will be at hand to give tasting notes and recommendations, and there will be cheese from Haystack Mountain as well as chocolate to pair with your wine. Admission is $30 and up; the benefit is at the Denver Design Center, 595 South Broadway. For more info, go to www.rebuildingdenver.org.

Down south in Colorado Springs, the Margarita, 7350 Pine Creek Road, will host a six-course Wine Maker's Dinner with Stephen Kautz of Ironstone Vineyards. The meal starts at 6:30 p.m.; call 719-598-8667 for details.
