The last -- at least for now -- in the string of pizza joints coming to LoDo is set to open its doors tomorrow. Wazee Wood-Fired Pizza was the first to join the lineup, opening last December in a neighborhood that already included the Wazee Supper Club and Two-Fisted Mario's. (Both Mellow Mushroom and Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria are just a few blocks outside of LoDo.)
That was followed by Lucky Pie, which opened at the end of February.
And now Toppings, a take-and-bake enterprise, will try to take a slice out of the LoDo pizza action when it opens at 4 p.m. tomorrow at 1433 17th Street.
Get ready: the next wave in LoDo is sushi.
