Things are bound to get wild during tonight's Do at the Zoo. So throw on your best animal-print attire and head to the 27th annual fundraising bash, which will feature food and drinks from over sixty of Denver's top restaurants, live music, dancing, animal encounters and more.
Over the years, more than 48,000 Do at the Zoo guests have raised over $11.5 million for the Denver Zoo. Proceeds from the event benefit the zoo's daily operations, including the care and feeding of more than 4,000 animals, as well as education and conservation efforts.
Tickets to the Do, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Denver Zoo, are $175 per person and will get you after-hours access to the zoo, food, drinks, live music and more; you can find tickets and more information at denverzoo.org. The zoo will be closing at noon today to prepare for the festivities.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
