September has been National Yoga Month, and it's not too late to celebrate. Fitness, flood relief and green tea beer -- come support all three with the Hoppy Yogis and Off the Mat Colorado tonight at the Wynkoop Brewing Company. The fitness fun starts at 7 p.m. with an energetic yoga session led by Gina Caputo, set to the music of DJ Janis. But you can also skip the yoga and just come to Wynkoop at 8:15 p.m. for the party.

Denver's oldest brewpub will be tapping the jasmine, green tea and ginger Hoppy Yogis beer that the Wynkoop made just for the event, and also serving snacks.

All proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army Intermountain Division, to assist those affected by the flood and first responders. Tickets for the yoga session, $20, and the-after party, $10, can be purchased online at the Hoppy Yogi website.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
