Denver is a town with many wonderful bars, several of which had the added allure of possibly scaring the khakis off Husted, who's most at home in Cherry Creek. But ultimately, I went with Jerry Feld's Club 404, which has a wonderful back story -- Feld bought the bar before he was legally old enough to own it -- and almost sixty years later, Feld and his family continues to hold down this corner of Broadway. The survival of Club 404 is something to celebrate.
But there are so many other saloons in Denver worthy of toasting. Which bar would you choose for a grilling?
