"When the American Distilling Institute announced that its annual spirit conference would be in Denver, distillers were excited about the opportunity to engage other top American craft spirit distillers," says Rob Masters, head distiller of Spring44 and president of the Colorado Distillers Guild, which is organizing the event, along with the Colorado Bartenders Guild and EatDenver, which will pump out "inspired bites" to go along with specialty cocktails featuring Colorado spirits. "DStill is going to be a serious celebrating of the best craft distillers in America, all here in Denver," Masters adds.
"It's a great trifecta of people," Masters says."It's one big circle that really makes things special." Tickets are $40 at www.dstill.co/, but you can win two tickets -- one for you and a guest -- by entering our contest. Here's what we want to know: There are 44 distilleries signed up to pour at DStill. How many individual products are those 44 distilleries pouring?
The Cafe Society commenter who comes the closest to the actual number without going over, will win the tickets. To enter, please leave your guess, your name AND an e-mail address in the comments section below. If you don't leave an e-mail address, you can't win.
We'll announce the winner next Tuesday.
