Yard House will open in Lone Tree -- after it fills 200 positions

The California-based, beer-centric Yard House will open its third Colorado location, at 8439 Park Meadows Center Drive in Lone Tree, this summer, and the company is looking to fill 200 positions over the next several weeks, including servers, bartenders, hosts and cooks.

Yard House is the creation of Steel Platt, who had restaurants in the Tivoli before he moved his base of operations to California, where he opened the first Yard House in 1996. He opened Colorado's original Yard House at Colorado Mills; its second continues to pack in the crowds on the 16th Street Mall.

Interested in joining the Yard House crew? Job seekers can apply in person today through Saturday June 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the hiring center located next door to the new space, which is set to open July 1.

Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
