When the Hotel Teatro was named one of the top 50 large hotels in the United States and Canada in Travel + Leisure magazine's 2009 World's Best Awards survey, the boutique slumbering pad at 1100 14th Street could have re-wallpapered their guest rooms with gratuitous copies of the travel zine's accolades. But any hotel worth its thread count knows that the best way to celebrate a milestone of this mile-high magnitude is to introduce a classy cocktail -- and hell, why you're at it, why not call it the World's Best Martini?

Which is exactly what the staff at the Teatro has done. For 50 days, starting today, Prima Ristorante, Kevin Taylor's Italian restaurant inside the Teatro, is pouring its version of the world's best martini -- a mix of Stoli Orange and Grand Marnier garnished with a mandarin orange wedge and fresh orange slice -- for $5 each.

We can (and will) drink to that.
