Man does not live by beer alone...that beer could accompany a five-course meal, for example. At 6 p.m. tonight, the
Kitchen Denver is hosting the Young Guns Dinner. Each of five courses will be paired with two beers from the following breweries:
The Bruery (Orange Country, California),
Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, Florida),
Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (Denver),
Jester King Brewery (Austin, Texas) and
Prairie Artisan Ales (Tulsa, Oklahoma).
Seats are $125 per person; for reservations, call 303-623-3127.
More beer will be flowing in Boulder, where Oak at Fourteenth is hosting "Beer & Berkshire" at 6 p.m. tonight. Chef Steven Redzikowski has put together a pork-centered menu that will be paired with beer from the local Oskar Blues Brewery and the California-based Golden Road Brewing Co. Representatives from both breweries will be in-house. Tickets are $65 per person; call 303-444-3622 for reservations. For more details and a full menu, visit www.oakatfourteenth.com.
