The Chowder Room, a casual seafood restaurant, opened in January on a busy stretch of South Broadway. Gretchen Kurtz, who lived back east and married a "chowdah head," couldn't wait to try the place, which she reviewed this week. Meanwhile, photographer Danielle Lirette went behind the scenes to capture the Chowder Room from soup to nuts.
