Vivek and Sanju Beri owned a wine shop in Longmont before they opened The Palate Food + Wine Bar in Greenwood Village. Their expertise is evident in the collection of 150 old- and new-world wines available at the Palate, many by the glass. In addition, the Beris have installed a self-serve pouring system that dispenses wines in 1.5-, 3- and 6-ounce servings. The menu, which offers lunch and dinner along with a full list of small plates, favors dishes that pair well with wine — and while much of the roster skews Mediterranean, there are a number of other influences present, from Southern to Latin American.
