Coloradans Say, War is Not the ANSWER

On Saturday, January 4, triggered by a drone strike in Baghdad that killed a top Iranian military commander, anti-war groups rallied in front of the Colorado State Capitol. There they called for an end to hostilities and U.S. sanctions on Iran, as well as the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq.

This rally was one of two in the state of Colorado and among dozens held in cities across the country by the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition, along with Code Pink and other anti-war and veterans' groups.

The otherwise peaceful protest was disrupted in the final moments by three Trump supporters, who were quickly dispersed by the Colorado State Patrol.
