Tradition runs deep at the
Chicano Humanities and Arts Council, where the Day of the Dead has been celebrated since long before Santa Fe Drive became an arts district. On October 13, CHAC held its annual El Día de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life, with Aztec dancers, a procession, altars to honor loved ones, face painting and sugar-skull making.
