Denver Bands Rocked the 2016 Westword Music Showcase

Denver Bands Rocked the 2016 Westword Music Showcase

On Saturday, June 25, nearly 100 of Denver's best local bands performed on more than a dozen stages in the Golden Triangle. At Bannock Street Garage, Broadways, City Hall Amphitheater, La Rumba, Stoney's and Vinyl Rooftop, acts like Khemmis, jilly.fm, Gasoline Lollipops, Hot Apostles, Dirty Few, The Knew, The Raven & the Writing Desk, Felix Fast4ward and many more brought down the house. In spite of a power outage at City Hall, Wheelchair Sports Camp performed an impromptu set on the sidewalk, using a trash can for percussion. All photos by Miles Chrisinger.
