Denver Rings in 2017 With Two Big Bangs!

Denver Rings in 2017 With Two Big Bangs!

Denver rings in the new year with a double-whammy tradition: not one, but two fireworks shows downtown. To prepare for this very big bang, the city set up a rooftop pyrotechnic display on the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel's rooftop on December 29, then launched the fireworks from there and a flatbed truck on Arapahoe Street at 9 p.m. and again at midnight on December 31, to the cheers of crowds all along the 16th Street Mall. And then...the cleanup. All photos by Brandon Marshall.
