Dirty Heads Nearly Upstaged by Lightning, Rain at Red Rocks

Leave it to Colorado's temperamental weather to steal a show at Red Rocks. SoCal reggae band Dirty Heads' show on Tuesday, August 16, saw three weather-related PSAs, in which concert attendees were encouraged to sit in their cars to wait out a bad storm. Many obliged, but some stood their ground, waving middle fingers at the warning calls from from amphitheater and cheering as lightening struck overhead. A few of the openers, which were Kongos, the Expendables and Katastro, were delayed, and our photographer Brandon Marshall had to cut out before Dirty Heads or risk ruining a camera (and getting struck by lightening).
