This year, the luck of the Irish is on vacation.

With the announcement that all city restaurants and bars must close for eight weeks beginning on Tuesday, March 17, all public St. Patrick's Day festivities were canceled.

The moratorium is set to be lifted on May 11. Until then, here's a look at Denver's traditional Irish bars on this uncharacteristically quiet St. Paddy's Day.
