On June 9, the day that George Floyd was laid to rest in his home town of Houston, hundreds of mourners crowded into Denver's Civic Center Park for a candlelight vigil in his memory. Denver Public School board member Tay Anderson and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser both spoke at the event.
