Iggy Pop Slayed With Josh Homme in Denver

Iggy Pop remained a force of punk nature while on tour in support of Post Pop Depression, arguably his best solo album. The album is the result of his collaboration with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal, who also plays lead guitar in his touring band — which includes QOTSA’s Dean Fertita and the Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helder. Performing nearly all of the new album as well as classic tracks from his late-'70s work, Pop delivered a raw and powerful night at the opera. Read our review. All photos by Miles Chrisinger.
