Korn is coming to the Fillmore with Kill the Noise. Gotta hand it to the dudes: Who thought they'd still be a topic of conversation in 2012? Like Darius Rucker, the erstwhile Hootie and the Blowfish frontman who wisely reinvigorated his dormant career by adding some twang to his tunes, Korn, nu-metal dinosaur from the '90s, figured out a way to make itself relevant once again. On Path of Totality, Korn's latest record, the act sagely aligned itself with Skrillex and other kingpins of dubstep, a sound the band reportedly helped pioneer back in the day, before there was actually a name for the genre. For better or worse, it seems to have worked.
