Following the Parkland, Florida, school shooting on Valentine's Day, demonstrators with Colorado Ceasefire protested gun violence at the State Capitol on February 21, 2018.
For three minutes starting at noon on Wednesday, February 21, seventeen protesters with Colorado Ceasefire, a group that rallies against gun violence, participated in a "lie-in" at the State Capitol. The protesters each represented a person who was gunned down during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Valentine's Day. The timing was also relevant: Inside the Capitol, lawmakers were debating gun bills. All photos by Brandon Marshall.
