Lie-in at Capitol Calls for Gun Reform After Parkland School Shooting

Lie-in at Capitol Calls for Gun Reform After Parkland School Shooting

For three minutes starting at noon on Wednesday, February 21, seventeen protesters with Colorado Ceasefire, a group that rallies against gun violence, participated in a "lie-in" at the State Capitol. The protesters each represented a person who was gunned down during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Valentine's Day. The timing was also relevant: Inside the Capitol, lawmakers were debating gun bills. All photos by Brandon Marshall.
