Tube to Work Day Is Back

Tube to Work Day Is Back

Today, Friday, July 19, was a totally tubular day to be a Boulder professional, as people celebrated the fifth annual Tube to Work Day. This event, originally slated for July 12, was delayed a week over high-water safety concerns. The one-of-a-kind aquatic event hosted nearly a thousand Boulderites as they embarked on their daily commute down the Boulder Creek. Participants departed from Eben G. Fine Park, floated downstream, under the 9th Street bridge — where bacon fishermen dangled treats — and onward to Central Park, where festivities awaited.
