All dolled up for Dolly Day Denver.
Sunday, January 26, was Dolly Day Denver at the Oriental, and more than 100 Dolly Parton lookalikes — 101, to be exact — turned out in an attempt to set the Guinness World Record. Another winner: Lannie Garrett, who received a standing ovation for her performance as alter-ego Patsy DeCline in the Denver Does Dolly Revue. The event was a fundraiser for the local chapter of Dolly Parton’s literacy foundation, Imagination Library.
