August got a big send-off at the Savoy Ballroom on Friday as over fifty MCs came together for a marathon, four-hour-long continuous rap session. The first annual Rap-A-Thon ran from 8 p.m. through midnight and featured local rappers—including Dent, Turner Jackson, and more—in a nonstop cipher.
