Summer Roof Top Party

Brothers Toshi and Yasu Kizaki already had a hold on the corner of South Pearl Street and East Florida Avenue with their trio of restaurants, Sushi Den, Izakaya Den and Ototo. But now they've added a new parking structure on the east side of Pearl Street to provide 200 extra parking spots for customers and other visitors to the packed neighborhood. The new building was christened last night with a benefit party — and a summer storm. Proceeds of the event will go toward to earthquake relief agencies in Kumamoto, Japan, where a series of major quakes occurred in April. All photos by Danielle Lirette.
