Of the 150-plus eateries that opened since Gretchen Kurtz put down her critic’s fork at the end of last year, the one that best captures the direction of Denver's food scene is the five-month-old Preservery. That's the restaurant that Kurtz chose for her first review now that she's returned as the Westword reviewer. Photographer Danielle Lirette offers another taste of the Preservery in these photos.
