The Bike-ification of Broadway?

Broadway began life as a major thoroughfare in Denver that primarily moved street cars. Of course, the advent of the motor vehicle changed that. Fast forward to 2017, and Broadway could transform yet again, to allow for more cyclists and buses. If voters approve a bond package in November, Broadway will eventually accommodate a two-lane bike way from Virginia Avenue (I-25 area) to Colfax Avenue, its current peak-traffic bus lane will become a full-time bus lane, and improvements will be made to the pedestrian walkways. None of this change is without controversy.
