Fans cheer the Denver Outlaws (2-3), who went on to win with a 17-13 victory against the Boston Cannons (3-2) in the team’s second home game of the year at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver on May 28,2016.
It was man versus burrito at the Denver Outlaws World Burrito Eating Championship on Saturday, May 28. After the lacrosse match, which pitted the home team against the Boston Cannons at Sports Authority Field, competitive eaters choked down mass quantities of Illegal Pete's burritos, all for the gory glory of it — plus a $5,000 check to the victor. Joey Chestnut won again this year, polishing off 14.5 burritos in ten minutes. And the Outlaws also came out on top, improving to 2-3 for the season. Photos by Brandon Marshall.
