Twenty-three incredibly fit men and women set the night on fire last Saturday at the 2016 Colorado Firefighter Calendar Tryouts, an annual fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center and Burn Camp that packed Exdo with more than a thousand hooting fans who were pretty well-oiled by the time the firefighters stripped down to their suspenders. Of more than fifty firefighter calendars around the world, Colorado's is the top fundraiser; last year's calendar sales and related events raised $100,000 for the burn unit and the camp, and "hopefully we'll beat that for 2015," says the group's Crystal Mackey. She and other board members will select the 2016 winners tonight; those names will be released next month during the photo shoot of the firefighters — but their actual place in the 2016 calendar won't be revealed until August 15, at another Exdo event. So mark your calendar to get a calendar then — and in the meantime, take a look at these hot, hot photographs that Brandon Marshall took at the tryouts Saturday.
Now see the full Colorado Firefighter Calendar Tryouts slide show. Warning: A cold shower might be required afterwards.
