Reader: Texting drivers are even worse than ones who are shaky and semi-blind

When sharing our post about a deputy's fatal crash involving Kenneth Hosch, 83, we asked folks on Facebook about their thoughts regarding the risks presented by some elderly drivers. The responses we received back were fascinating, with this one turning the question in an unexpected direction.

Deanna Angelo writes:

Yes, it's dangerous to have shaky semi blind drivers on the road. But I'm fairly sure all of you are the worst drivers in the country. This is simply because you all drive 5-10 under the speed limit. Not because you're safe drivers, but because you all are texting like assholes since it's somehow appropriate for the rest of us to wait behind you because you have no awareness that there are other people who have somewhere to go-and don't enjoy putzing behind you.
