The Broncos could just as easily be 0-6 as 6-0.
In fact, the former seems more likely than the latter given how miserable Denver’s offense has looked during the 2015-2016 season to date.
Yet the Broncos’ defense is so off-the-charts incredible that on Sunday, Denver managed to eke out a 26-23 overtime victory over the Cleveland Browns.
As we’ve noted, Browns fans absolutely hate the Broncos thanks to decades of futility – most notably the famed 1987 episode known as The Drive.
Will you step up to support Westword this year?
We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
No wonder that during and after the contest, so many Browns loyalists tweeted about their horror and dismay, with a slew of them talking about ending it all – jokingly, we hope and pray.
Here are twenty memorable examples. Check them out below.
In the meantime, we have this message for Browns fans: Don’t do it! It’s only a game…..
