The virulent homophobes (and anti-semites) of Westboro Baptist Church will supposedly begin protesting at various locations around our area on Thursday -- if they actually turn up, that is. They were no-shows at a Boulder gay-marriage debate in January, for example.

Let's hope they also fail to spew bile at the funeral of Sgt. Sean M. Durkin of Aurora, who died last week from injuries sustained in Afghanistan in March. Durkin, who will reportedly be buried next to his father in Pennsylvania (where hopefully they won't be able to find him), is among eight soldiers targeted by the WBC in a news release about a Sunday event that concludes, "We've turned America over to the fags; They're coming home in body bags." Read it below:

WBC observes WEEK 982 of protests against public sodomy at Gage Park, April 18. WBC's Gospel message, ("Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination." Leviticus 18:22) is America's only hope. We're determined the nation shall hear. God's Command: "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression." Isa. 58:1. "Show" = get in their faces; make it crystal clear. America's sin is that of Sodom: societal acceptance/respect for a soul-damning, nation-dooming "gay" lifestyle. America is "deeply (irreversibly) corrupt." Hos. 9:9; 2 Chrs. 36:16. WBC's Commission: "Son of man, cause (America) to know her abominations." Ezek. 16:2.

Thank God for 8 more dead troops.

We are praying for 8,000 more.

We will picket their funerals in their home towns in respectful and lawful proximity thereto.

Here is a Roster of the Damned:

Maj. Randell D. Voas of Lakeville, MN

Senior Master Sgt. James B. Lackey of Green Clove Springs, FL

1st Lt. Robert W. Collins of Tyrone, GA

Pfc. William A. Blount of Petal, MS

Sgt. Roberto E. Diaz Borio of Sun Juan, Puerto Rico

Sgt. Sean M. Durkin of Aurora, CO

Spc. Joseph T. Caron of Tacoma, WA

Cpl. Michael D. Jankiewicz of Ramsey, NJ

"For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God." 1 Chron. 5:22

We've turned America over to the fags; They're coming home in body bags.
