Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Attivo Pizza & Subs, home of the "life changing" Pancho Villa sub, is now helping to bring new life to the revitalized Beauvallon complex.
Until recently, Japoix was the sole survivor of the restaurants that once lined the west side of the 900 block of Lincoln Street. But Drip Coffeehouse opened there in June, following DiFranco's Italian Market in May. And now Attivo's move signals a continuing upgrade of the long-troubled Beauvallon into a destination for dining.
Although the owner hasn't returned calls, a peek into the nearly completed space reveals a spacious dining room painted scarlet. The new Attivo should be open within the next two weeks.
