Heat turns up at Mali Thai, lights turn down at Cinque: A second helping of Cafe Society, July 15-19

This week, Gretchen Kurtz tried to beat the heat at Mali Thai Cuisine, Jason Lebeau of Coohills spoke with Lori Midson about the science of baking, and Mark Antonation rushed up Federal Boulevard to New Saigon Bakery & Deli for the banh mi before the place closed for the day.

There was lots of additional action on the dining scene, including some surprise closures. Keep reading for a look at the action.
