Pasta Jay's has opened a new restaurant at 9226 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree. That makes three for the Boulder-based business, which didn't have much luck when it made a brief foray into LoDo, at 1435 Market Street (now the Pour House Pub), more than a decade ago, but now has a successful outpost in Moab, Utah.

Pasta Jay's is an institution in Boulder, where owner Jay Elowsky was just inducted into the Boulder Community Business Hall of Fame. (He also made a brief appearance in the media circus surrounding the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.)

The Boulder restaurant is at 1001 Pearl Street, just seven blocks from where the original Italian eatery opened than two decades ago.The Lone Tree restaurant is serving lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m, with expansive happy hours: Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close.
