Denver Boone, the University of Denver's mascot from 1968 to 1998, has been officially banished from the currently mascot-free campus. But Boone's not gone altogether. Today a seven-foot-high replica of Boone was installed on top of the Pioneer, which has been renovating both its interior and exterior this summer, and just unveiled its new deck.
