The Naples opened Heidi's in the summer of 1997, after moving to Denver from Brooklyn with their initial venture, Heidi's Bagels and Ice Cream. The deli has since grown into a chain of franchised soup-and-sandwich joints with outlets from California to Maine.

There are rumors that the space will become an eyeglasses store, which would be a shame, because it's located in one of Denver's most pleasant strips of eateries and shops.
