Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule and the Dead partnered with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra for a symphonic celebration of the life and music of Jerry Garcia on Monday, August 1. Gathering at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on what would have been Garcia's 74th birthday, the crowds of fans and vendors appeared to be younger than may be expected. For the occasion, Haynes even played Garcia's famed tiger guitar, which hasn't been used for a show since 1995. All photos by Brandon Marshall.
